I have two Date/Time variables on a service catalog item for the client to select a start date/time and an end date/time for when they would like to receive the service. The seconds do not provide much value and are defaulted to the current running second. Is it possible to remove the seconds or default them to 00?
Thanks,
Jenny

While you cannot remove them, you can modify the value with a client script or business rule to change them to 00 after entry.

Thank you so much! This is great!
I tested and can confirm that it works.
I'm so thankful that ServiceNow is so configurable.

Does this apply to all fields on and off the portal? It is not working for me. I removed the :ss from the time format and I still see the seconds on all of my duration fields

I am also curious if this is a global setting or if there are places where seconds can still be shown? I am using Xanadu in my PDI and see that changing this did work, so I no longer see seconds when scheduling a change request, but before I try to get this rolled out, anyone have any examples of where this could be a problem?
