Hello Community 😃,
Can the RITM be modified? kind of add or delete any field there. I have a requirement to create a variable with the name "subject" and in the RITM we already have the same name there, so to avoid confusion I was wondering if it is possible to use my variable instead, meaning I want to delete the subject field that the RITM has. Is it realizable?
Thanks!!

Hi there,
I suggest you to create a UI policy to hide the 'Subject' field in the RITM table just for your catalog item. You can create 'Subject' variable and add to the variable editor in RITM. In this way the 'Subject' field will still be visible in other catalog items at RITM level. Attached is the screenshot, to apply the filter. Screenshot attached is just an example. Please change the fields accordingly.
However, please don't delete the 'Subject' field as it will not be visible in any other catalog item and it is not recommended.

This is a very helpful solution! Thanks for sharing it!
Can you please specify the steps to get into the sc_req_item table, just like the screenshot you attached?
Thanks!

Hi,
Just type requested item in the left navigator. screenshot attached.
Or type sc_req_item.LIST in the left navigator to open the list of records in the next page or type sc_req_item.do to see the list of records in the same page.
If you are asking how to see the table sc_req_item and the fields at dictionary level then, you follow the below steps.
In the left navigator type 'Tables' and then under column 'Name' type sc_req_item, then you should find the table accordingly.
I hope I have answered the question.
