Is this table alias or something else?

Hello people..

Can we create alias for tables in ServiceNow?

Today I see this behavior..

Hit

https://xxx.service-now.com/cmdb_ci_service_auto_list.do

OR

https://xxx.service-now.com/csdm_app_services_list.do

it takes to the same table finally.. How is that done?

PS - I searched in Tables, DB views, UI pages... no where I could find what is this "csdm_app_services"

So what is that ?

As said, I couldnt find that in any of the Database Views, Wizards, UI Pages, Scripted Relationships and so on.

So you are trying to find 'WHERE' this alias/redirection is configured?

Can I ask what you intend to do with that information?

Hi @James Chun Thanks for replying. I too found that article after I posted this question.

This came as request from my customer. When they across this, they thought it was literally 'ALIAS' for tables and they wanted to create more such aliases for their business need.

And we have the answer now 🙂
