Hi All,
How to grant access to ITIL users for CMDB child class related list as shown below. From the below screenshot, Admin users are able to see edit and new buttons on related knowledge tab. We also need to grant access to ITIL users.

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG , @Tushar ,
It is working as expected. There is a relationship table between knowledge and cmdb_ci I have added the ITIL role in those ACLs.

Hi Priya,
You can create ACLs to control access to records in the CMDB child class.
Open the dictionary entry for your CMDB child class.
Create new ACLs for "Read," "Write," "Create," and "Delete" operations, allowing access based on conditions suitable for ITIL users.
Now update Related List Configuration to show the "Edit" and "New" buttons.
- Navigate to the form layout of the parent CMDB class.
- Open the "Related Lists" section.
- Find the related list for your CMDB child class.
- Click on the related list to edit its properties.
- Check the "List edit" and "List add" options to enable editing and adding records from the related list.
Double check that ITIL users are assigned the necessary roles to access and edit records.
Please, don't forget to mark my answer as correct if it solves your issue or mark it as helpful if it is relevant for you!
Regards,
Tushar
