Hi All,

How to grant access to ITIL users for CMDB child class related list as shown below. From the below screenshot, Admin users are able to see edit and new buttons on related knowledge tab. We also need to grant access to ITIL users.

Please assist.

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG , @Tushar  ,

It is working as expected. There is a relationship table between knowledge and cmdb_ci I have added the ITIL role in those ACLs.

Hi @Joshuu

You want only ITIL role for this action or to update any field on CMDB.

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG ,

Means ITIL users should also be able to see edit and new buttons here. not to update any field on CMDB.

okay , you want to restrict user only to use this Related List.

Try with ACL on the Related List table.

HI @Dr Atul G- LNG ,

Sorry I think I didn't answer it properly.

ITIL user should be use edit and new buttons, not restricting. I have also created 3 new table.* ACLs on knowledge table for create, read and write access for ITIL users. But still unable to see those buttons.
