ITOM Cloud Discovery - Install Latest ITOM Pattern Store App

Hi,

In my PDI, I am trying to implement Cloud discovery where I installed Mid Server in AWS windows machine and launched one more instance to verify if my MidServer can find the instances in AWS cloud within my account. For that I have configured AWS account credentials and Service Account too. Post that, I tried checking cloud discovery under Discovery Schedules, I am seeing below screen

Then I clicked on go to Store App, I can see the below

If I click on "Install" in above screen then I can see below screen but "Install" button is disabled.

However, if I check the status of "Application Dependency Status" apps (You can see in above screenshot) and they are installed, please see the below screenshots

Please help in understanding or suggest me If I am missing anything or is this expected behavior for PDI.

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution but I did run into the same issue with my PDI as well but for a different plugin.

Some plugins are not supported in PDI and I suppose this is one of them.

 

ServiceNow doesn't provide much support for the PDIs, so I am not sure where or how you can resolve this issue. Realistically speaking, I would just leave it. But if you do find a solution for this, please share it here as well. Good luck.

I'm having similar problem.. Cloud Discovery Workspace (Xanadu version of PDI) isn't available.  Neither from store nor the plugin/apps within the PDI.   Painful... if SN has removed cloud-disco products from PDIs it'll be difficult/impossible to learn these products on your own time via PDI.  😞    BOO

As said by @James Chun , there are some plugins which we cannot update or install to PDI because of certain reason/restriction from servicenow.

 

Also from the screenshots attached for sn_patter_design it is asking for 6.16.0 version but the current version which u have in ur PDI is of less,hence the suggestion in the 1st snip ki u need to purchase it from store.

You can check in the store from ur plugins module page on the top right corner u will get a button stating Request from store.

After clicking on it will take u to the service now store sight where u can search that plugin n see if it's available for ur PDI. 

If that version is available then u can simply install it or else in certain scenarios it might not as we cannot have all the same features in our PDI as compared to customer instance.
