JIRA Integration via Jira Spoke with ITSM Basic License

My Customer's ServiceNow Instance has got ITSM Basic License and wants to integrate with JIRA.

so in relations to that, I want to ask below questions.

1. Can we integrate JIRA Instance with our ServiceNow instance using JIRA Spoke with ITSM Basic Credentials
2. If we can integrate with ITSM Basic License , what all actions can be done via integration ?
3. Also, if the integration is possible with JIRA with Basic License, How will we do it? will we have the option to install JIRA Spoke in plugins with limited actions or is there any other way?
This is very urgent.

Please help.

I doubt that JIRA integration comes with the basic package — it seems to be part of a more advanced subscription. The best person to answer these types of questions would be your ServiceNow Account Manager or Sales Representative.

Hi! I'm the community manager at Exalate.

I believe it’s possible to integrate Jira with a ServiceNow instance even if you’re using an ITSM Basic license, but there are might be some limitations to keep in mind. The Jira Spoke does require IntegrationHub licensing, which may not be fully available under Basic. You might be limited in terms of available actions and triggers.

As an alternative, you could consider using Exalate, a flexible integration solution that supports bidirectional sync between Jira and ServiceNow—even with limited licensing. It gives you full control over what data is shared and when.

Good luck with the integration!
