KBs short description not showing in Employee center search exact match

Hi Team,

I have a issue when KB articles are searched in Employee center with KB numbers the short descriptions are not showing for few articles in the Exact Match as showing in the attached screenshots. The issue is with the articles that are created using kb_template_faq , kb_template_how_to , kb_template_what_is templates.

For few articles the short description is showing as expected that are created with other templates.

Can anyone help me to understand what is the cause for this and how to fix the issue.

Hi @GlideFather ,

Found the solution for the issue as there are no records available for the kb_template_faq , kb_template_how_to , kb_template_what_is templates in the "sys_ui_list" table, so I have created a records for each table with index view as mentioned in the screenshot.
This solved the issue.

Hi @dev_S,

investigate your search profiles and portal configuration.

Perhaps there's something that only specific articles are displayed (either category or anything else)... not much to tell you from this point of view. screenshot doesn't show anything and the description seems to be more complex then read and answer 😕
