Knowledge bases not showing up for users

I have our portal site attached to a knowledge base, it works fine if you are an administrator but users can not see anything.  What am I missing to make this visible to end users?

I got it figured out.  The Can Read has Everyone? in there so I removed that Can read entry and was able to view the information in the KB.

Anything in the Can Read related list on the Knowledge Base preventing them from reading the articles?

ITIL is in there but I added users and still nothing is showing up for the users.

are the users able to see it if you logon to the "backend" (not service portal)

public is not able to see kb's

when I logged in again as someone (impersonating) and they do not show up now just discussions (QA).  If I click the home button or try the drop down nothing is showing
