Hi Arpitha,

I had a similar question while dealing with GRC Licensing and found that there was a table that maps IRM role to License, sn_irm_shared_cmn_licensing_role_type. There, you can search for these roles and see which 'Licensing user type' they fall under.

Hi Justinfuller,

The sn_irm_shared_cmn_licensing_role_type table is really useful, thanks for this.  Do you know if it is possible to access this data for all the other applications (e.g. ITSM, SPM,...)?

I ask because licensing_role_type.list returns page not found, and license_role_type.list is the Subscription Role Types table which isn't particularly helpful.

Hi Lauradanby,

I apologize as I cannot give a good answer here, I'm only familiar with the IRM application having this sort of data and have also had no luck finding similar data for other applications. During contract reviews/renewals in the past, we've just looked at the Subscription Management module under Admin > Subscription Management to look at how licenses are consumed by App.

If you click on a Product/app in Subscription Management, most of the time they have Capacity Definitions (labeled DEF#######) that define what consumes a license. It ultimately depends on the type of licensing model you have, but I would reach out to your aligned account executive as they would be able to provide more information on this topic.
