Limit cmdb update dependencies to first level in BCM workspace especially to bia

I have a requirement for my BCM client ..when u click on update dependencies ui action on the bia record in workspace right now it will update all the dependencies level but our client wants to limit it for first level of cmdb dependency..

Is there any way to achieve this .

Anyone has implemented this as we have a similar requirement from Client.
