Login issue while accessing ServiceNow instance

Hi,

We have on-premise installation of ServiceNow.  Whenever i hit my ServiceNow instance url in browser, i saw HTTP 500 status code along with error message.

description The server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

exception javax.servlet.ServletException: Unknown error com.glide.ui.GlideServlet.init(GlideServlet.java:82)

To view more details, I logged into my application server node via putty and in the wrapper log file i can see the below text getting logged whenever i hit the URL in browser.

glide SEVERE Allocate exception for servlet glide"

I'm not sure what has gone wrong. Instance was working fine last week. Any ideas, what could have caused this issue.

Hi Udhay,

Can you please provide the url of your Instance? I will check what the issue is.

Also tell me, Issue is while getting logged in Or while hitting the URL.?

Hi Vishrut,

I re-started the app server and the instance became available again. Though the issue is solved, i'll try to find the root cause which resulted i this issue and post the same here.
