Major incident management

Hi All,

Can anyone please tell me why the promote and propose major incident are not available on incident even the major incident management plugin is installed.

Once the plugins are installed both Promote Major Incident and Propose Major Incident contextual buttons will appear. They won't appear directly as form buttons, it's a form context menu button. You need to go to the form header and right-click on it then you are able to see both buttons if you are having an admin or Major Incident Manager role.

ITIL role people can only access Propose major incident button.

Thank you for the reply, i have installed all the plugins related to the major incident management but i am not able to see the Promote Major Incident and Propose Major Incident buttons. 

And i am able to see the Major Incident Module.

Hi @Mahesh Pydisett ,

Try once repairing the Major incident Plugin. After the repair, if those buttons are coming that's fine. If they are not rendering in the form then check whether they are there are not in UI actions.

If they are not there then add the attached XMLs and try again, check whether the UI actions are active or not. 

Even after doing all the above things if they are not rendering then there is a customization which is blocking the OOB Functionality.

The 2 UI action names are "Propose Major Incident" and "Promote Major Incident".

Did you check if Promote/Propose button available in UI action list in backend? If yes then its not plugin issue.

It should satisfy condition to be visible on Form.
