Hi All,
I am using the multi row variable set, and this variable set contains Product Model and Quantity. And I wanted to Display and make mandatory the "Serial Number" field only on the task level.
I tried with the UI policy with in the variable set, but it's not working.
Please any one provide the input,

First, on the variable definition, make sure the Mandatory box is not checked, and the Hidden box is checked.
This saves you from having to create another Catalog UI Policy to hide it on the initial request form and RITM views, but accomplishes the same thing - the variable will be 'hidden' the variable by default, so your existing Catalog UI Policy makes it mandatory on Catalog Tasks, which will also make it visible, but it doesn't hurt to also specify that.
Note that a variable is always visible when a MRVS is displayed.
So the 'Hidden' checkbox and/or a UI Policy that does the same will only apply when the Add or Edit buttons are clicked.
And on the Catalog Tasks the variable will be mandatory, and visible
