Mention in Activity stream not sending any emails

I wanted to send notifications through activity stream of RITM or wherever applicable through service portal. I have checked instance options as below.
"Activity Stream @Mention" Email notification is also active.
But emails not going for the users that I mention in activity. What is wrong here?
Followed Activity stream mention on a form was not triggering emails to the mentioned user article but not fixed the issue

Hi Mihir, how are you confirming the mail is not sent ?
Have you looked into System Mailboxes-->Outbound-->Sent list (from left nav)?
Have you verified the mentioned user have an email id associated?
Have you verified the email properties of your instance?

1. Make sure the input box is set to use the rich text editor... the setting specifically calls this out.
2. Make sure the user you're using to test it does not have this notification type disabled.
3. Are you testing it as yourself? Make sure the user being mentioned is different than the user adding the comment, or that the notification is configured to "Send to event creator" in the advanced view > Who will receive tab.

As I mentioned in my question, I have done with necessary configurations as per SN article but still not working PDI. But it is working fine in client environment not sure the issue with PDI.

I am running into the same issue. Have you checked if a record is being generated on the live_notification table when a mentioned is created? This was our issue.
