Meta Search not Working

I was asked to add a meta word to a service catalog item so that it is searchable in the service portal. The keyword is "VMS". I tried it in uppercase and lowercase and it does not work. I looked at other service catalog items at work just to make sure that a 3 character meta was allowed. I found plenty of examples that do work. I know you have to separate the words with a comma. This was the only word as in some of the examples I found so I did not put a comma.
Can anyone tell me why it is not working?

There is a possibility that the text indexing has some issues. Worth raising a HI ticket if the issue does not get resolved after some time.

Meta keywords i have added but it is not showing up any catalog when i am going to search in Self service view.
