MIgration Path from Agile to SAFe

Hi All,

Have you crossed a path to migrate from Agile to Safe?

from Agile , Epic (rm_epic) to SAFe Epic ( sn_safe_epic )

I understand the rest of structure is different too, Is it recommended to migrate at all or should we insist they start from scratch?

#SPM

#SAFe

Cheers,

I wouldn't recommend moving to SAFe as it's deprecated as of Xanadu. See the notes below and the recommendation to move to Enterprise Agile Planning

Hi @Kieran Anson

Would you advise how to migrate to Enterprise Agile Planning then? is there a path?

There is a guided setup for moving from SAFe to EAP. But if you're not using SAFe already, then it'll be a new adoption rather than a migration? Unless you're using the agile module in a custom way to manage work at the enterprise level?

Enterprise Agile planning (EAP) is our new Agile offering which supports SAFe. EAP is part of the Strategic Planning Workspace (SPW) . There is an internal integration available to move epic from rm_epic to the EAP epic table. The story table does not need a migration since EAP uses the same table. Here are some resources that can shed more light on this topic:
