To edit a widget and apply a Time series such as Month to date AVG or Week to date AVG, navigate to widgets in navigation pane, open the widget in the related list (keyword search also possible) and edit the Type, Visualisation, Indicator, Breakdown, and the Time Series label by clicking the magnifying glass.
