Hi Gaurav,
MSP stands for Managed Service Provider. If your organization have multiple clients and you want all of them to be on-boarded in one instance then you can go for MSP instance with domain separated functionality.
Thanks,
Manisha

Hi Gourav,
MSP (Manage Service Provider) instances are used if your company have multiple clients. It basically uses the same instance and "domain-separate" them into various clients. There is a "global" domain which has access to all domains. Basically, its the parent domain.
Sometimes MSP's are also used by single client parent company having multiple child companies. It is useful if you need to restrict data from one company to another. Service-now has no restrictions on how many domains can be created on one instance, which is a benefit to the company. Although, in practical use, domain separated instances tend to run slower than stand-alone instances.
Hope this helps you get a little bit more knowledge on MSP
Note : Once you domain separate an instance, it cannot be reverted back.
