Hello,

My instance got reclaimed but there's an issue with the developer website that unable me from awake it

When I access the instance URL, it says that the instance is hibernated and that I should go to the developer portal to wake it up. However, I can only find the request and instance option.

Instance URL: https://dev224239.service-now.com/sp

Hi @alhajjaj,

go to this link:

https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/home

And there will be option to awake your hibernating instance. Please share what you see here and here:

As PDIs have no support, so if you have no important data in it, you can release it and request a new one. But if you have there some progress made, then you need to awake it from the link I shared above. There's not any alternative to it.

Hi @alhajjaj,

You can try the following steps:

  •  Click the “Refresh” button:

This usually wakes up the hibernated instance.

If it still doesn’t work, and the instance isn’t critical or has no important data, you can release the current PDI and request a new one, it’ll be much faster and smoother.

Hope this helps!

Hi @alhajjaj

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.
