Hello, My PDI instance that was up and running for 20+ days is reclaimed due to inactivity. I didnot login to the dev portal but was using the SNOW instance on a daily basis. Is there any possibility to get that instance back, because I configured the discovery plugin with the endpoint. It is a quite some work for me to redo everything.
Thanks.

Hi @curious
I have been using PDI since this morning with no issues, but yes, I saw a few posts on the community about PDI offline.
1. There is no support available for PDI.
2. If you can wait, more, let's wait
3. You may release this instance and take a new one but in this case, you will lose your previous data.
From going forward, try to take regular backup of PDI, to avoid any loss of update set in future.
There is no way to reclaim it back.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hi @curious
This might be due to the recent data migration activity being carried out by ServiceNow team. A PDI once reclaimed cannot be recovered. Also, no support is being offered by ServiceNow around PDIs.
Ideally, you should have taken periodic backup of your work as PDIs are not reliable.
Thanks & Regards

Hi @curious ,
The short answer is NO. When first it has been reclaimed, there is no possibility to get it back again.

Hi @curious
Is it an old or a new PDI?
If its a new PDI, how long your instance is sleeping, if its more than 2/3 days, your PDI might have been reclaimed.
Not sure if you have seen this announcement by Servicenow, if your PDI belonged to old datacenter, it will be reclaimed and you will have to request for a new PDI.
For more details go through blog below:
https://www.servicenow.com/community/developer-blog/important-update-pdi-infrastructure-migration-ex...
I understand your frustation as well, I lost my PDI of 5 years.
As we know, PDIs are just a free service we are using, and Servicenow long back has mentioned the instance can be lost due to unavoidable circumstances so we need to take the backup of your instance regularly.
This is very inconvenient and unfortunate, but at this moment we can't do anything, all you can do is to request a new PDI and keep backups going forward. Refer to the link to how to backup your instance:
