as requested, i backed up what i needed from my PDI and released.
I then requested a new instance .. however, the message still appears as an actionable item in the new PDI.
How can i tell that i'm 'safe' to resume using my PDI ?

Hi @Diane22 ,
i experienced the same for a while after I released and requested a new PDI. It will disappear after some time. Please also note, as @Dr Atul G- LNG also mentioned, it is good practice to always back up your work that your doing, so if something happens then your safe.

Hi there,
That message is shown to everyone. Instead read the blog and check on which data centre your PDI is and if you should be good.
Note though... you should ALWAYS be prepared that your PDI suddenly even without warning can vanish. These free PDIs come without support and sometimes just never wake up again, or disconnected from your account, etc..
Kind regards,
