The Script is a way to test where the issue lies. If you use is as a background script it will highlight if this is a server side or client side issue.
When you use the edit button it will add the parent record to the child which is what is happening in the script.

Hi! I have the same problem, I did tried with script and it worked. So I guess no ACL related?
The problem is happening in production instance too, so I was guessing the problem was related to ServiceNow new rules: KB2046494
Problem with list edit button then... What could it be? Thank you

Hi Nilesh,
Has the issue been resolved? If so, could you please share the resolution?
