Now Experience: Contextual Side Panel - Response Templates

We have a workspace experience built on Rome in UI Builder with the App Engine. I'd like to add the response templates contextual side panel icon to a table that displays records in this workspace. I know how to set this up in the legacy workspaces with the Contextual Side Panel module. However, I suspect I'm in the wrong place to configure that for the Now Experiences since I can't select this new workspace on a new action assignment record, and even if I leave the workspace empty but build out the needed side panel configuration, nothing appears.

Can someone point me towards the table in which these items are configured specific to Now Experience Workspaces?

So the workspace is part of a scoped app then.  Which is the same for the one that I have been talking about.  Have you tried adding a record to the table I have suggested?

Yep, that is where I originally started and why I resolved to create this post 🙂 I've set these up many times in the past on the legacy workspaces, but it simply is not working in the Now Experience workspace. I opened a HI ServiceNow Support ticket. They too cannot get a custom app engine now experience workspace to create a new side panel item in a fresh OOB instance so they are escalating this internally to their development team. I'll keep this thread updated with what they come back with.

I am trying to add the 'Response Templates' button to the new Service Operations Workspace and I am having the same issue.  Did you ever figure this out?
