onchange client script not working in catalog task table

Hello Everyone,
We have an issue like existing/new Onchange client script not working on catalog task table. Means if you put simple alert in the script that too is not working. What could be the cause?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Do you mean that any new scripts fail to execute, regardless of what you try? Onchange of a different field, etc?

Have you checked in the console for your browser for errors? I can't think of reason that all scripts would be failing, except perhaps something occurring during onload that might be preventing the onchange scripts from being attached.

I'd check the console for errors, and then otherwise I would set all of the client scripts on that table to active=false and then set the one you want to test as active and see if you get the same results. If it works, then you know one of the scripts is causing an error and you can enable them one at a time until you find the one causing the issue.
