Can instance data replication plugin be used for one time data migration?

yes, I need to move large amount of data from one instance to another but only once. Not a continuous sync. 

Can you explain, how?

When you one instance to another , you are referring to SN - SN instances.

If yes, the user export - Import or XML way to move the data.
