OOB Slushbucket Search Functionality

How does te Search functionality works for a slushbucket of a Related List?

 

1. Does it considers "Starts with"

2. Does it considers "Contains"

 

I have a custom field and Display as True (no other field is Display True)

 

So on the Left side, I can see the Custom field Data. But if I search anything, it is not searching. But I can see records on the Left side. 

Do I have to mae changes in the Attritube?

Yes, I tried creating new records as well and those are also not searchable. 

 

I ultimately end up not doing this functionality as I did not got the way to implement it.

I am adding the image below. I am trying to search for a record which is mentioned in this list itself. I am not able to search this record also.

I tried adding the same number also which is shown in the left side slushbucket, but even that is not searchable.

Could you please suggest something on this. Any workarounds or anything.

Sorry for delay in response. I am not able to think what can be the issue here, as when full list available, then record visible and when search individually, then it did not show.

 

Might be log a Now Support case. 

 

Is it with one record all records start with ECxxxxxx

This is a Parent table and 4 tables are extending to this Parent table. So even if I search something with ENHCXXXX, or DFCTXXXX, or EPICXXXXX, it is not returning me record. 

Strange thing is, it does return record for only some specific records (not able to figure out why only those) 

Yes Aniket, looks strange. Try to create a new record and see if issue with that or not.. just to test else log a Now support case.
