Open URL from 'UI Action' Button in the platform

Hi there, I am trying to create a UI Action button in the platform which will open a URL, but it isn't working

here is a pic of the UI I created ( i delete the URL from it): 

Can you tell me please what is the problem here?

just define openURL() in onclick field
