Hi Team,
I need to create a new taxonomy and link it to the employee center portal as per a requirement. In the employee center portal, I am not able to find an option or edit button to add a taxonomy. Ideally, there should be a button 'edit' in the taxonomy related list to add/remove oob taxonomy. What could possibly be causing the issue?
Thank you in advance!

Hi Priya,
In General, there should be only one taxonomy should exist in Employee center, even if you have a option to create many, that's the best practice.
But if you want to modify something on the OOTB existing Taxonomy then > Navigate to Content Taxonomy> Taxonomies > Employee > Open this record
Mark my answer correct & Helpful, if Applicable.
Thanks,
Sandeep

Hi, this is pretty late but I also ran into this just going through the Employee Center Academy: Migrating from Service Portal to Employee Center video.
The presenter clones the existing taxonomy, goes to the portal config page and uses an Edit button to change the taxonomy to the new one. My PDI is on Tokoyo and doesn't display that edit button. What I did was the following:
edit - just switch your application scope to Employee Center Core and the edit button should appear

Thank you for sharing. I was wondering where the Edit button was. The specs in the docs only says 'Associate the taxonomy to the portal that is created.' but does not mention anything about the need of switching the application scope.

Hi Priya,
1. Check the scope first .
2. Check whether the taxonomy is associated to the portal.
3. Now clear the cache or open the taxonomy table in new window.
If I could help you with your Query then, please hit the Thumb Icon and mark as Correct !!
