yesterday
Hello Team,
My Personal Developer Instance (PDI) dev280301 is currently showing as Offline in the ServiceNow Developer Portal.
I was actively using this instance recently and have ongoing POC configuration and development work stored in it. However, when I try to open the instance, the Developer Portal displays the following message:
“We’re having trouble opening your instance due to an internal error. We should have it fixed in a few minutes.”
The Developer Portal also shows an incorrect “Last used” status even though I accessed the instance recently.
Could you please help me recover or restore the PDI with the existing data and configurations?
Thank you.

PDIs are not supported by ServiceNow
So the only option for you is to wait till it's online and then use it
also check recent changes for PDI

Hi @gopigadde
Try Refreshing the Instance
Sign in to the ServiceNow Developer Portal.
Go to Manage My Instance.
Click the Refresh button (if available).
Wait for the refresh process to complete.
In some cases, the PDI may recover after a manual refresh.

Hi @gopigadde,
- The Instance Help community is no longer monitored by ServiceNow employees. The only way to get help on your Personal Developer Instance is logging in to the Developer Site, and using the "Give Feedback" button (in the footer op the page).
Using the "Give Feedback" button is the only way for getting Instance Help. Doing so, will create a task for ServiceNow employees.
Seeing all recent responses, it could take a few days though before receiving help.
- Your instance is under maintenance by the ServiceNow team. It will automatically come online, after the maintenance completes. Have to wait till the maintenance is completed. Note it is taking longer time then usual. Lot of issues of the same has been report.
So i suggest you to be patient. Will be restored soon
Also Try this https://developer.servicenow.com/blog.do?p=/post/restore-pdi/ to restore your instance.
Hope this helps. please mark my answer as Correct & Helpful based on the validations.

Hi @gopigadde
- Log out of the ServiceNow Developer Portal, log back in , go to the "Instance" page, and try waking the instance up again.
- Wait till system finishes its maintenance or restart process at the backend
Note: If the error persists for over 5-6 days, you may need to release the instance and request a brand new one. Just be aware that doing so will erase any unsaved work on that specific instance.
Refer :Personal Developer Instance (PDI) Guide
