PDI instance offline for days with message "Instance is undergoing unscheduled maintenance"

My PDI has been offline for days now. The message on the home page says "Developer Instance is undergoing unscheduled maintenance. Get Notified when your PDI is available." I have clicked the 'Get Notified' button several times and it says it will notify me, but gives me NO timeline for how much time the 'unscheduled maintenance' is expected to take; and it seems like there is no way of contacting ServiceNow support to ask for help. Would anyone have any information on when an offline instance in such situations is expected to come back online; or how to contact support? Or does ServiceNow NOT support PDIs any more?

Hello @Meenakshi_S

Unfortunately, there is no official support from ServiceNow for troubleshooting PDI issues.

There is no precise support from community as well

The best you can do is to either wait or release your instance and request for a new one.

To prevent such things from happening, you can follow below blog for taking the backup of your PDI

Please Mark this answer as helpful and correct if helped.

Hi @Meenakshi_S,

We don't have control over it. Either you can wwit or may release the current instance and take the new instance.

Please accept my solution if it resolves your issue and thumps 👍 up

Thanks

@Meenakshi_S PDIs are no longer backed by any support team from ServiceNow. If the PDI instance refuses to wake up then it is better to release the current instance and request for a fresh instance.
