Dear developers

The following message appears, and PDI fails to start.

I'm at a loss....

”We're having trouble opening your instance due to an internal error. We should have it fixed in a few minutes”

Hi @Suke Tomy

There is no support available for PDI.

So try following steps:

1.  Log out completely, clear your browser cache, and log back in.

2.  Sometimes session caches cause UI hitches, so a different browser or an Incognito window can bypass the issue.

3. Log in to your ServiceNow Developer Portal, go to the "Manage My Instance " button, keep refreshing the Instance widget/page.

If nothing works, Release the instance and Request for New PDI Instance.

Hi @Suke Tomy

PDIs have issues from time to time. As there is no support available for PDIs, you’re limited to two options:

  • wait, it should come online after some time
  • release and request a fresh installation

If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.

Best regards

Hi @Suke Tomy

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.
