I don't think sc_task shows up there OOTB.
you need to add the configuration in "sn_hr_sp_todos_config"
Create a new record like this
I created that record in To-dos configuration table and I started seeing it on My Tasks in esc

to show the Close complete options you will have to customize that OOTB widget, clone and then make changes
Ideally portal is for end users and not for agents
Agents use classic view or workspace to work on catalog task
I will suggest to train your users regarding this.

You will have to clone the widget and perform heavy customizations.
I will suggest to train your users to close the tasks from workspace rather than portal
Workspaces are specially designer for agents.
