Performance Analytics - Records Tab Not Showing

I have been having trouble setting up an application availability dashboard in performance analytics so that the "Records" tab that shows the applicable records appears.   Currently, you need to zoom in on a very specific date on the graph to get the records tab to appear, which means 5+ clicks to view a list of records.   I have been comparing to the sample Incident dashboard and you are able to view the records within the breakdown in a single click.

Some background on the issue:

  • Eureka release
  • Indicator source, indicator, breakdown source, breakdown, widget, and dashboard were all newly created   to make this dashboard (no out-of-box was leveraged)
  • The Collect Records checkbox on the indicator is checked
  • The collection jobs collect on all breakdowns

Thanks for any new troubleshooting ideas!

Hi Lesley,

Difficult to say, but it may be that system property com.snc.pa.dc.max_records (Maximum number of records that are stored during a data collection) means that records are not collected (for some dates), and so the records tab is not shown (for all dates).

It is not really advised to change that property by the way because it may have performance implications collecting and showing the records.

Best Regards

Hi Lesley,

One other thing to check whether your indicator is a formula indicator or just a normal automated indicator. I've usually seen for my formula indicators that I have to really drill down a few level to be able to see the records tab.

Thanks,
