We are using remote table to store the data and populate the data on the catalog form.
We have created a remote table . we are calling the Rest message in remote table definition script to dynamically fetch the values from 3rd party and store the values in the remote table. In remote table we have fields Site, Project. Then on the catalog form we have a variables Site and Project , We are using variable type as Select box for Site and List collector for Projects. First we will be populating the Site values as a choices from the remote table and then we have added the reference qualifier for Project in order to populate the choices based on the site selection. (both the variables are referencing to the remote table) but we are facing the performance issue where form is taking few minutes to load and populate the values.
Note: We are able to populate the data on form level but the only thing is it is taking more time while loading the form and populate the variable choices
