PIR Reports needs to get downloaded after Major Incident gets resolved and get send to Manager

Hi Everyone,

 

I have a use case where we need to download the PIR Report when Major Incident gets resolved send that PIR Report to Major Incident Manager

 

Once Major Incident gets resolved then in Related Links of that Major Incident we have Preview PIR & when we click that related link new page opens with PIR Reports of that Incident. So there Download Report PDF UI Action is available to download the PIR Report but we have requirement that as soon as Major Incident gets resolved then that report should get downloaded in PDF format automatically and sent that report to Major Incident Manager.

Hi @Krishnakant Arv 

 

I think you can use combination of BR and email Notifications -

With this setup, whenever a Major Incident is resolved, the Business Rule will be triggered, generating the PIR Report and attaching it to the resolved Major Incident.

The Email Notification will then send an email to the Major Incident Manager, attaching the PIR Report as a PDF.

Yes it's true that we can achieve this by combination of BR & Email Notification but the actual problem is that PIR Report attachment should be available anywhere so that we can gliderecord on that table and able to get that attachment but that is not available anywhere.

 

Hope you got my point, You can try this once in your PDI as well so that you'll get to know where I am stucked.
