Hi,
one of our Service Desk managers has just raised this query with us and we haven't yet found out why it is occurring.
He is running a Pivot Table report where he is selecting the rows and column field values as below - notice that the grand totals are ok but the individual cell values are zero.
Stranger still, if he reverses the pivot fields and sets the 'Category' field as the row, the individual cell totals display as expected (see the second screenshot).
Please ignore any discrepancy in the totals as I ran these screenshots at different times.
We've looked at the obvious things like ACLs, business rules and domain separation issues but we can't see the wood for the trees at the moment.
Can anyone suggest why this might be happening?
Many thanks in advance,
Keiron.

I noticed that your categories and totals are different between the 2 screen shots. Do you have different categories in child domains, or is it consistent across the domains? Makes me think the report is running in 2 different domains?

Hi Michael,
thanks for taking the time to reply.
The category totals are different due to the length of time that I took the separate screenshots - I've just tried again and the total are the same.
When I switch the pivot table fields so that the rows are on 'Company' (companies domain separated).
The 'Category' field is from a shared table that is not domain separated so should be available to all.
So I'm still puzzled.

I run basically the same report in my domain sep instance and it works fine. If you run the one that shows zeros, and with totals, and click on the totals, it should take you to those ticket. If you look at the Categories on those tickets, do they look fine compared to shared list?

Can you include a screen shot of your report? Maybe I'm missing something there.
