Hi All,
I am currently facing an issue with ServiceNow landing page, and I encountered an issue after clicking the Edit button.
After entering edit mode, the dashboard layout changed unexpectedly — a new tab (e.g., “New Tab 10”) appeared, and the original view/content is no longer loading as expected.
I did not intentionally made t changes, so I am unsure if:
- A tab was accidentally created or duplicated
- The default tab/view got altered
- Or the dashboard auto-saved a new layout
Hoe can I revert back to original view? If I delete these tabs will there be any impact?

Hi @SindhiaR ,
I don't think reverting through Versions will resolve this issue. In Platform Analytics Workspace, whenever a new tab is created within a widget or dashboard, a corresponding record is stored in the par_dashboard_tab table. Since the tab configuration is persisted as a separate record, reverting the workspace version may not remove the tab itself. Instead, navigate to the par_dashboard_tab table, locate the record associated with the tab you want to remove, and delete it. For example, if a tab named "Remove Tab" was created, a record with that tab information would exist in the par_dashboard_tab table. Deleting that record will remove the tab from the Platform Analytics Workspace after refreshing the page. Please refer to the screenshots below for reference.
If you found my response useful, please mark it as Correct and Helpful. Thanks!
