Platform analytics drilldowns not working in dashboard - "This content could not be loaded"

Hi all,
After migrating to Platform Analytics, many drilldowns have stopped working in dashboards. They still work normally when viewed individually in Visualization designer.
What happens when I click on the visualization to open the drilldown, it says "This content could not be loaded", sometimes followed by "Invalid configuration. You need to select group by." However, this second message can appear regardless of whether my drilldowns have Group by or not.
Things I have tried:
- Making sure the plugins sn_app_analytics_w and sn_par_vis_base are up to date and repairing both of them.
- Making sure the drilldowns for all visualizations have a Group by. The results here were not conclusive: In many cases there was already a Group by, in a few cases there weren't, but in any case resetting Group by did not solve the issue. In many cases where Group by was missing, it would also go missing again after I had reset it and saved the changes. But even after it stayed put, it did not solve the issue.
- Manually applying the same custom conditions for both drilldowns as for the parent. The predefined conditions were the same, but the custom conditions were not. This did not solve the issue.
- Trying to recreate the drilldowns from scratch. Still not working, and with the following strange side-effect: I am now mandated to have "Trend by" selection in the drilldown. I cannot remove it.
This is simply very unpredictable and I may have to raise a support ticket, but I wanted to see first whether someone else has experienced similar problems and found any solutions.
