Possible to modify the "Gender" field in the "Users" (sys_user) table?

Good day, everyone.

I need to update the choices in the "Gender" field in the "User" (sys_user) table by adding the "Other" option. Is it possible?

Hi,

I'm able to add the Other option in the choice list by

1. right-clicking on Gender,

2. Configure Choices, 

3. Add Other in the "Enter New Item"

4. Save

You should see the Other option in the choice list.
