Progressing a hung workflow

I am wondering if there is some way to be able to progress a "stuck" workflow if a join was setup with only a complete action.     We have a new implementation and have 39 requests in a hung state that need to be forced to continue.

I have already corrected the workflow but need to complete these requests.

In the active context's activity history, i attempted to change the activity state and results.     Then I selected Nudge.

It doesn't appear anything changes with the workflow but the wf logs documents the following

Any helps would be greatly appreciated.

Kristy,

I am having an almost identical situation. I have a workflow that will not progress to the next activity and the same error message is in the workflow log. Did you find any more information on what this means or how to fix it?

Kevin,

Unfortunately, the workflow nudge did not work for me regardless of the outcome changes I made within the workflow context.       I had to cancel the old workflows and restart as a new request.

First, you may want to determine why the workflow is hanging.     If your workflow continues down two paths at one time, you will need to join the paths before transiting to the end of the workflow or the request will hang.

Thanks for the fast reply! That was a nice surprise after seeing so many

posts which appear never to be replied to.
