Hello,
I recently received an email with the subject "Action Required: Your Personal Developer Instance Will Be Reclaimed," informing me that my PDI is scheduled for reclamation.
My understanding is that a PDI may be reclaimed after a period of inactivity. In the past, when I received a notification related to inactivity, the email subject was different and clearly indicated that the issue was caused by inactivity.
For this reason, I am unsure why my current PDI has been scheduled for reclamation.
I use my PDI almost every day and regularly perform development activities. In addition, when I check the Developer Portal, my instance is shown as "Online," and I do not see any indication that the instance is scheduled for reclamation.
I received the reclamation email on July 9, 2026, and the stated reclamation date is July 10, 2026.
Could you please confirm whether my PDI is actually scheduled for reclamation and advise me on any actions I should take?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,

Hi @駿佑齋
If you received the mail, then it will probably be reclaimed as stated. This happens from time to time.
Only action you can take is to back up your work and request a new when it has been reclaimed.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.
Best regards

Hi @駿佑齋
I will suggest regularly Refresh and try to wake up from developer portal at least for 4-5 days . If it is reclaimed , Bad luck. Request for New PDI.
Just so you know, Due to high demand following a new platform family release, PDI pools for the Australia version are currently experiencing errors or waitlisting.
You can try releasing your current request and requesting an earlier version (e.g., Zurich ), as they may have more availability . But Community members reported that there is also having waitlist issue.
Please check this Personal Developer Instance (PDI) Guide
Where it is written-
"When a PDI is reclaimed, the instance is unassigned from you, reset to its original state, and reassigned to another Developer Site user. Reclaiming instances allows ServiceNow to supply active developer site user with free instances."
