The Record Producer is not visible if searching from the search on Employee Center. I have used meta field on the catalog but still not showing.
Also, it has not been added to any category and we don't want to add the same in any category. It is visible fine in the homepage but when searching it's not coming up
I checked search source but not sure where to add this one since only catalog and KB are configured.

This was fixed by creating a new topic and adding the record producer in the topic. The only con is that if you have a section for different topics on your portal/esc the newly created topic will show

Also make sure that the field "No search" is set to false.

what happens if you directly use the browser URL and go to that catalog item?
