Record Producer reference field is populating sys id value in same field in request created table

Hi,

I created a record producer for a table, when i submit request , the reference field for sys_user in record producer is populating as sys id in table request record field . instead of user name, which was selected in request form.

please provide solution for this

I have tried to change the type showing this error, but not considered this solution it initially, as it will be read only in record.

And i have not mapped it anywhere, Can u explain the 2nd solution briefly.

You have Associate Name string values in the existing table. Remove them from the table and try again to switch the field type from String to Reference.

Hi, sys_user as reference field on form have any custom logic or direct table reference. Share the variable setting for this reference field.
