Redirecting to new page without loading old page content

Hi All,

We have changed the url for one of our portal page. There are users who have bookmarked the old page url. So we are redirecting old url to new page url. Im able to redirect the page but the issue is redirect starts after loading the old page content. Is there anyway we can redirect to new page before the old page content loads ?

Look at page route maps. Easiest, and fastest way to redirect to a new page in the portal.

I tried this option but it isn't working. Our portal is AI search enabled so page route map isnt taking to the correct url.

AI search should not have impact on Page Route Maps. Even more, it relies on a Page Route Map itself. It uses a route from search to sp_search.

Can you add a screenshot of the page route map you created? There is no other possibility for the requirement you have.
