Hi,
If suppose there is a asset field in case form and it is a reference field. Table is alm_asset. It has different attributes but the display name of the asset is displayed on the case form. Now I want someother attribute of the asset table to be displayed in the case form. How do I figure this out?
TIA

Hello @Nandhinisri
It's not recommended to change the Display Value for a table in servicenow, it will impact everywhere it's being used. Instead create a String field and a script and Auto Populate it with the attribute you want by dot walking.
Or even in the dictionary level you can see Default Value field , there you can pass some javascript: - code to auto populate it.
Kindly mark my answer as helpful and accept solution if it helped you in anyway,
