Relate Business application table to Knowledge articles

Hi , I have a requirement to relate Business application table and Knowledge articles. 

There is a KB related list in Business application form, but the issue is that, published, outdated, retired articles become readonly , so we cannot add them to in kb article related list in business application form.

Need a way to add even the published articles to related list of Business apps table
