Hi,
Out-of-the-box, the Risk Event → Compliance Case related list is driven by the table relationship that comes with the Compliance Case Management application.
A many-to-many (M2M) relationship is configured between Risk Events and Compliance Cases.
This M2M relationship is what surfaces the Compliance Cases related list on the Risk Event form.
If you don’t see it in your instance, make sure the Compliance Case Management plugin is active and check the form layout/roles to ensure the related list hasn’t been removed or restricted.
So OOB, yes, the related list is provided through that relationship without needing any custom configuration.
