Relationship Between Service Offerings and Commitments in ServiceNow

Hi community, good day. I have a question regarding the relationship between Service Offerings and Commitments in ServiceNow. I want to understand how these two are linked to each other. As far as I know, this linkage appears through a related list, which makes the association visible on the record. I also noticed that in some cases there might be a parent or reference field involved that establishes this relationship. However, my main question is whether there is any out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionality where records can automatically appear in the related list without manually creating or mapping them, or if this behavior is entirely driven by reference fields, relationship definitions, or configuration. Any clarification on the OOTB design or best practice around this would be really helpful.

yes there is one out of box solution. You just need to create new relationship between 2 tables in relationship table(sys_relationship). I created this kind of relationship . Simply refer following example and you can implement in your own way .

For example there are 2 tables candidate and training :

first i cretaed candidate table which extends sys_user table then created training table whose one field referes to candidate table. eg.name field .

In relationship table create new records => base table as Candidate (applies on this table) =>Basic query from training table .

Now go in candidate table =>related list=> there we get one out of box relationship training=>name field bring that in relationship so you automatically got that candidate related training record here.
