Remove information preview on catalog items

Hi

We need to remove the information preview button from items in the portal.

This solution works:

however, you can edit the CSS from the browser and get it to show.

Is there a way of removing the information preview entirely from items?

Hi,

You might to clone widgets and configure things. Just a question, all of this will for users, are you willing to say users will go and remove the html part and be able to see things again.

I understand, it is not an concrete solution but something you can take advantage of instead of customzing or cloning widgets.

I don't think we can remove it entirely. In order to do that u can change the type of the field, but again that will not serve our purpose, Also i dont think users might take so much effort until their intension is not good.:)

I don't fear that regular users will edit CSS to access the button, but it is a security requirement we have to remove that option.

Hi @andersen ,

In that case would recommend u to open a HI ticket with ServiceNow & get the proper solution. As i am not sure if there is any other solution via which it can be completely removed.
